My dad recieved two replacement hard disk drives for exactly the same HDDs that were immediately broken when we bought them two months ago. It's a shame that warranty is slow to act, but, better late than never, since I've been hearing about people who never get any support at all. The two hard drives are a Seagate 500GB and a Western Digital 750GB. I was given the 500GB while my dad takes the 750GB.
Took me at least an hour to fully install the hard disk into the system. The case was a bitch, since there was too much metal around to obstruct my hands. Finally, after a lot of work figuring everything out and putting it all together, I successfully installed the new hard disk. Just physically, so I guess I still have to partition it so Windows can use the disk.
Finally, I have place to dump all those downloads without having the fear of deleting needed ones.
